  1. I realised my earlier post caused a misunderstanding. I was not really saying that Apple was at fault or iPad the limitation. I have a Sony dscrx100 M6 shooting in raw. These files are fully readable and useable on my iPad 2018. But, when import any of them into Affinity Photo they seem to open, showing the file details at the top, but no image. When I then try to press develop the program crashes back to desktop. So I assume it’s a program error. Help!

  2. The M6 uses the same raw files as the M5 as far as I can see. The M6 raw files are certainly viewable and editable on iPad, just not in Affinity Photo. I can edit them in Lightroom for instance. In fact I can view them on most of my iPad viewers. But I don’t want to pay a monthly sub to edit them in LR when I have purchased Affiinty. There must be a reason the program is dropping out back to desk top when I press develop that is not to do with an incompatible file type. It seems more like a program fault than a compatibility error. Before I press develop Affinity displays the file name and details, but shows a blank black place where the image should be. I have waited up to 15 mins.
