And apologies for the delayed reply. Your suggestion is a good one, of course, and I'll try to find time to start posting specific workflows soon. I wear a lot of hats in my community, so I only need to use these tools occasionally (as opposed to being a full-time graphic designer, for instance).
One of the main things I've used Illustrator for over the years is to create scale drawings of the sort draftsmen used to do with plan and elevation views. (I'm old enough that drafting is something I took in high school and really enjoyed. I got so that I was very comfortable with a t-square and several triangles! 👨🏼🦳) As such, I got pretty fast with the pen and line tools in AI. The first time I tried to do the same thing in Designer, I was surprised how differently the tools worked. If possible, as a start, could you (or someone) point me in the direction of a comparison of how the pen and line tools translate to Designer vs how they work in AI?
