Funny - it did the trick for photo. I can now switch to designer but not back again. The menu item ist still grey in designer, Does it matter in which sequence I have to open the same file?

I deinstalled both the beta and release versions of designer and photo (I still have the publisher beta installed) and rebooted. I opend both programs but still I can't switch to each other from within the program (menu item ist still grey).

Yes, it affects both. I have rebooted and nothing changed. I had the previous beta versions installed as well. I think I will deinstall everything and later install both of the current versions again. Thanks for your help - well appreciated!

Yes, I have upgraded both programs to the latest version and have run them multiple times.

Before the recent update it was possible to switch from designer to photo an vice versa but since I updated to the current version (1.7.0.367) the menu option is grey and not active. How can I "connect" the applications again so that I can open a designer document in photo from within designer again? Any help is appreciated! Kind regards Tomas
