  1. I am really happy with the new appearance panel and the possibility to have numerous fills and strokes for a single shape. Could we also get a transform effect that can be applied to each fill or stroke. It does not need to be an effect, but the possibility to transform each fill  and stroke independently from the others.

Equally useful would be the possibility to apply different effects to different fills and strokes

  2. When trying to highlight text in an existing table with the text tool, the pointer very often does not change to text pointer, but stays as an arrow and if you click it highlights a whole completely different cell. Sometimes the pointer changes to text, but then it is impossible to highlight the exact word or desired part of the word. I did not have this problem with the former version of Publisher

  3. I would like to purchase Affinity Designer for iPad now with the Black Friday discount. I do not have a compatible iPad yet. It may take a week or 2 to get it. To my surprise Apple does not let you buy the App without the iPad. In the past you could buy apps on the desktop iTunes and copy them to your iOS devices later on. Is there any other way to buy Affinity Designer for iPad other than the Apple Store?

  4. The row and column headings are missing and I cannot highlight the text. The only thing I can do is place the cursor inside the cell and erase the word with the "delete" key and retype, but not highlight for copy/paste etc.

What table is editable is also odd. Right after opening Publisher the first table that I edit becomes editable with row and column headings no matter whether is in the first, second, third... page. If I quit Publisher and reopen and I choose a different page, that is the table that becomes editable. The other tables do not get the headings no matter what I do.

  5. If I duplicate a page containing a table, only the table of one of the pages is editable, the other is not. Curiously if I change the order of the pages the table that was not editable becomes editable and the other cannot be edited anymore. Also if I make several duplicates, only one can be edited, which again depends on the layer order. I guess it is a bug because this is not a desirable behavior.

  6. I just downloaded Publisher beta and reproduced a couple of InDesign CS6 files containing tables. So far I love Publisher. You have done an amazing work at making it much more intuitive than InDesign. The first thing I missed though was GREP (find) and GREP styles. These are essential if you are designing a book, brochure of manual. In agreement with everyone in this thread, please add GREP to Publisher. Looking forward to replace InDesign.
