  1. While the Guides Manager is great, it would be really good and save a lot of time to be able to select guides with the selection tool, duplicate them by "option dragging" and delete them with the "delete" key. Maybe next update? Thank you
  2. +1, it saves a lot of time. I am surprised this basic functionality is not available in AD
  3. Totally agree. I asked for this feature a couple of years ago.
  4. Can VectorStyler import afdesign files or do you use a different file format?
  5. Vector brushes are very simple. I recently wanted to drop a vector shape in the brush panel to create both a scatter brush and an art brush like I usually do in Illustrator. I was stunned to see this is not possible. It does not make sense we have to create a pixel image (png) to create a vector brush. Although the resulting path is editable the quality is not as good as when using vectors. We need vector brushes made up of vectors and the scatter option.
  6. When precisely placing 2 or 3 guides. I would like to be able to select them, duplicate them and move them together to another location of the illustration. Also selecting a guide and hitting "delete" when you do not need it anymore is faster than having to move it back to the ruler area.
  7. When editing a color swatch the dialog window we get is minuscule. It is not possible to edit the color with precision. It would be great to be able to enlarge it. Also it would be good to have a check box to convert a color swat to global. Most of the time I create color swatches and decide later whether I want that color to be global or no.
  8. That is exactly what I mean. In these first 2 screen catches the color that is highlighted in the swatches panel is a green that is not being used in the selected square. Notice that in one of the pictures the stroke color in in front and in the other the fill color is in front In the next screen catches the square was recolored. While it is showing the fill color correctly, if you place the stroke in front in the swatches panel it keeps showing the fill and not the stroke.
  9. Thank you so much. I did not know this feature. I used to do this with the free transform tool in Illustrator. This is going to save me a lot of time.
  10. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. Selecting a shape should highlight the respective color in the swatches panel
  11. Many times I need to rotate not a whole shape, but just a few of the points that make up that shape. I have not found a way to do it in AD. Either a rotate tool or a free transform tool that works on a set of points, not just the whole shape would be super useful.
  12. I know we can apply gradients to strokes, but I am asking about gradients that follow the stroke path like in Illustrator, both along or across the stroke.
  13. I would like to make dash lines with variable width along the stroke. The pressure option is not available for dash strokes, only for solid or brush strokes. I tried to set the pressure on the solid option and then switch to dash, but I do not get dashes unless I remove the pressure on the solid option. Is there a way to do dash lines with variable width? If not that would be a nice feature to add for future versions. Thank you.
  14. Sure there are always workarounds. But they require more work and time than simply pulling from a control handle on the donut tool.
  15. Adding control points to the donut tool so that it is possible to create an open circle with one of its ends having a triangular shape (arrow)
  16. Is there a way to apply non destructive filters in Affinity Photo? I very much miss smart objects and smart filters from Photoshop. Apply a filter, later on you decide it is too much or too little and can make as many corrections as you wish because it is non destructive.
  17. I would be nice to have a set of filters like the ones in the "Distort and Transform" category in Illustrator. The Transform filter is super useful, Zig Zag, Twist and Roughen... Also the filters in the "Path" category: Offset path, Outline object, Outline stroke. Thanks
  18. I wonder why is the blend tool so difficult to implement. Most of us want it. I've been waiting long, but sadly not in designer yet.
  19. Please implement a free form gradient tool like the one in Illustrator, with custom located color stops
