  1. Hey Bruce, thanks for the quick answer. That cleared everything right up. I suppose the negative distance is there if you actually wanted the text to intrude into the object while still retaining the actual outline, which makes later edits easier (kinda like mask growing/shrinking in some video editors).   2. Hello all, stumbled upon this just now. When I insert an object (an Affinity Photo document in my case) with text wrapping set to tight and I set the distance from the text to a negative value to get closer to the content of the object I get this weird overlapping text flow in and around the object when I pass a certain threshold. I understand that some intrusion of the text within the object is desired since this Affinity Photo document has transparency, but overlapping characters are not desirable.   3. When a document has been reconfigured from a layout with facing pages to one without facing pages, new master pages will still be created with facing pages and there is no way to specify single pages since the button is disabled.
