  1. Sorry for my late answer. I already had the U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2 selected as well the convert option. I had other issues few months ago and looking online I did switch from the CMYK profile. Thank you
  2. Hi Dan, in the beginning I saved as PDF for exportation (that was a mistake out of ignorance). I now tried to save as PDF for print and when I do print it from the PDF file it comes out correctly! So that is very good However when I do print directly from affinity without previously saving it as PDF I still have the same issue. Do you have any idea how to solve that? Because we print between 300-400 labels a day and if I have to before save them as PDF it is going to be a bit of work also with the small labels if I print from PDF the printer does not center the border of the labels. The semi-transparent is intentional Thank you so much for your help! Sorry for bothering you!
  3. Hi Dan, that happens only on PDF and when printing. I did check the affinity file and the opacity is all the same. Perhaps it automatically changes opacity when printing? I admit I have not studied graphic or anything similar I just sort of self taught, therefore there are plenty of chances I'm making mistakes. However what did leave me perplexed was that I'm using affinity since its first release and I never had this issue before the mojave upgrade on the mac. Also when I'm making labels I make one label, let's say the first in the first row on the left and from that one label I duplicate and make the others rows and labels. I have attached another pdf file that it looks just fine as pdf but when I print it the left column with the five labels comes out with almost an invisible background. This happens with many labels. In other cases it would be only two labels in a paper with ten labels which would have a lighter or almost invisible background. Thank you very much for you help I have attached the original affinity file for "tamanu" tamanu.afdesign Camu 100% 100 caps BIO.pdf
  4. Hello there, since the last upgrade to mac Mojave I having issues with printing as well with PDF export. We are a small business and we make our labels ourself. Anyway I usually print on USA letter paper with 30 small labels on it. (I have attached a pic.) Therefore as it is possible to see in this pic the first row, the sixth row and the ninth row have got a lighter colour in comparison to the others. On PDF. you don't see that a lot but when I'm printing, those rows come out basically with a white background. This started happening only after the upgrade to mac mojave. It also happens with other labels, perhaps on side would have the right background and the other one would have a white background. Also it may be the only to labels in the whole paper would have basically no background. But you can see that only when printing or when PDF exporting. I did check the printer hardware and I also tried printing with another printer but I keep getting the same issue. Also since that happens also on PDF exporting I figured out it is an affinity issue. Do you guys have any idea about how I could fix this? I'm using macOS Mojave version 10.12 on an iMac from late 2015. Thank you in advance! Sofi tamanu2222.pdf
  5. Hello there, I'm already a big fan of affinity designer and photo, so I couldn't wait to try publisher as well. So.. I'm "experimenting" few things and I noticed that there is a little bug regarding the opacity tool. I have used it for regulating the opacity of an image I wanted to put as background and since then it does not leave my screen anymore. It just got stuck on the screen. I have attached a screenshot. It does not bother a lot but I'd say it is better to fix it :) Thanks for your work guys! Much much appreciated. Sofi
