Hi chris b This only happens when hardware acceleration is enabled, The program does not crash but does write info to the event viewer only when exiting program. The files are still saved to use again, but there is that error. I found out that this also happens on V1

Useing Wiondows 10. NVIDIA Gforce RTX 3080. 1. In affinity photo v2, I created a new 1920x1080 document with transparent background. 2. Place a rectangle around the document and changed the colour to white. 3. Then used the fx on the layer to bevel/embose with pillow type with a radius of 50px. 4. I then saved this as is, and exited out of program. I start program again and reload this image and save it again after adding a pixel layer to be able to use save option and it shows the same arror in event viewer when exiting program. 6. If I restart the program and load image, I then rasterised the layer, not using preserve the fx layer and saved the program. 7. after exiting program, no event error was recorded. I also found out that if I DISABLE Hardware excerlaration: open cl compute exceleration, it seems to work fine. No harware chages have been made, all worked ok on V1 Has anyone else had this problem, is it a bug or am I doing something wrong. Look forward to any help. Does v1 of the affinity suite have to be uninstalled or does v2 overwrite, or do both version exist on the same computer.

I agree, this would be a great option to have a similar program as Adobe After Effects as demonstrated on YouTube ' Affinity designer and After Effects'

thanks for your reply. I should experimented a bit more. One thing I need to know is can you revert to single pages after you have set up as spread format.

Found out an anwser, I should of doubled clicked on the page instead of single click. Single click would have been nicer.

I create a new document with one A4 page and place a design on it. Save the document and it prints OK. When I open that documet, the design is still on the one page i have created, bu as soon as i add another page or a master the design on the original page has disapeared and in not on any other page. Also all the layer information has gone. I chosen the option of no spreading. Disclabels.afpub
