  1. This is already possible—afterwards. In the top left corner when you select the placed PDF (screenshot). But selecting for example the trim box is mandatory. Apart from that: +1
  2. So could anyone please explain to me what the Font Manager is good for?
  3. In InDesign I can change used fonts at any time. What I use quite often. So why the restriction? And yes, Publisher has to compare with InDesign.
  4. I know, that was my point. So the Font Manager is quite useless at the moment.
  5. I tried to open a PDF with two missing fonts. Is it impossible at this stage to replace a font via the Font Manager, if you replaced it with the standard replacement font while opening the PDF?
  6. Unter „Document > Resource Manager“ kann man über „Make Linked“ jedes einzelne Bild verlinken.
  7. Don't geht me wrong, I am really excited about the apps from Serif. And I think they are already awesome – including this beta. But some answers to mandatory requests in this forums are a bit odd: I just hope they do it right to become a serious competitor to Adobe.
  8. Thank you for your answer Walt! I also think they deliberately do a lot of things differently. But in some places you can clearly see that they did not fully understand the needs of DTP.
  9. Maybe I'm totally wrong but how do you apply multiple masters to one single document page? And what is this good for? As you can see in InDesign you can easily differentiate the similar master pages by the prefixes "A" and "B" and where they are used. Without any hovering. This helps a lot if you need to sort your pages.
  10. Not sure about an exact level of zoom. It depends on the size of the text. I just tested it with 5pt text and therefore 400 – 500% would be great. The question is if there needs to be a limit at all. (I only mentioned the 11% because they mark the lower limit.)
