  1. Have to add to the chorus here on it would be a useful feature to have; I lay out a fair amount of books with chapters/sections that have repeating image and text layouts, so the ability to put photo frames and formatted text boxes in the master to just apply to later pages is a BIG timesaver compared to the workarounds. After the beta update, things are more stable so far and I'm still getting the hang of quirks, so I imagine there will be a learning curve and I'll need to get used to some processes - overall loving the program, just missing a few things like this that would really kick it up for me.
  2. Hey Chris, thanks for replying. I did have all the cells selected and it didn't work - however, it later worked on another table and worked on the same table later. For the most part for me it works, but once in a while it decides not to work. Haven't noticed any difference in how I select things between it working and not working. I've attached the file it's inconsistent on in case it's useful for you guys. However, right now it appears to be working fine - it only decides not to work every once in a while. gm-test-pub.afpub
  3. Unfortunately I overwrote the broken file with a fixed one a few days ago; not sure if it'll make any difference, but the new version has the same setup, just that the tables are now selectable - I've attached that on the offchance it's of any use. gm-test-pub.afpub
  4. I suddenly can't select one of the tables in my document. I can select other tables, make new ones, etc - it's just the one table won't respond to movement, editing - anything. Restarting the program does not resolve the issue.
  5. Piggybacking on this, is there a way to add columns via the margins, not just text boxes? Margin columns can be useful for helping lay out images and tables and other object in the column alongside text boxes, that aren't necessarily part of the text box themselves. To use InDesign as a comparable example, I mean something like what's in margins.png, as opposed to just what's in textbox.png, which is all I've seen in Publisher so far:
  6. When trying to remove strokes from a table that only has partial strokes (such as some vertical interior strokes but no horizontal/outside strokes), if I select "All Borders" and try to edit the strokes that way - to completely remove strokes quickly or unify the stroke style - it doesn't actually change the strokes. It will work if I find the particular type I need to edit - such as inside vertical strokes - but not if I try to do through All. This can make tweaking and editing a table more tedious sometimes if I'm not trying to find a particular combination and just want to change all the table outlines at once. Using Windows 10.
