Minor question but is it possible to delete the MAS version and just run the beta? I mean will it know that I'm an authentic user still? Main reason for this is clicking on files and them defaulting to the MAS version. I know I could probably just change default behaviour but I have a OCD streak about deleting unused apps. Cheers. Update: I've just tried with the latest Photo beta. This unfortunately hasn't rectified the issue

Hi there, I'm a fairly new affinity user and so far am really enjoying replacing adobe with it. However, today I found my Designer file, after switching to Photo to do some brush work, could no longer be opened. I get a warning message saying the file is corrupted when I open it again in designer. It still opens fine in Photo. I'd saved the file message under a different name and get the same result. I've also changed the file suffix to designer but that didnt work either. I'm using a 2012 rMBP with 10.10.3 Also the Photo beta is 1.1.2.24216 Cheers, Daniel
