  1. Just applied the latest update and still having a crashing issue when having two documents open.
  2. For the last two updates, I have been experiencing near constant crashing even when Affinity Publisher is just idling. There is no consistency beyond it occurring when I have an older V2 document open for copy and pasting. The document I'm working on is now over 100 pages (as is the original document). It doesn't appear to be a memory issue, the system isn't lagging prior to crashing. Is anybody else experiencing this or is it worth me totally uninstalling and reinstalling? Will I lose my System Palettes if I do? Apple M1 MacBook Pro, Ventura 13.6.4, Affinity up to date, 8GB ram
  3. Using Book in general is unstable and prone to crashing whenever the book and a document from within it are open at the same time. However, the export to PDF for books with bleeds is incorrect. Right hand pages are exported with an extra slither down the inside edge, even though my documents are set to have no bleed on the internal edges. The left hand pages all export correctly.
  4. Quick update: I'm also having this same issue in Affinity Publisher V2 but only when working with one particular PNG file.
  5. If I try and change the colour in the Colour Wheel or CMYK sliders by dragging the points, they instantly reset back to default meaning I can't choose a colour without keying in a specific value. I have restarted several times now without success. Affinity Photo V2: Build: 2.0.4 Mac Mini running Ventura
  6. Hi Do you know what the lead time is for something like the contour tool to be taken from beta to final product? Thanks
  7. There is an issue with recovery files for those files held on the iCloud. I think that may even be what is causing some instability on my machine with your beta. Basically, when the file is copied to the iCloud the system then cannot access it without a manual download by the user first. Really annoying, as when it crashes if it can't then re-access the file, the recovery fails.
  8. I'd agree with the need for crop marks for folding, the ability to change the spine width is essential as well as exporting the cover to one cohesive PDF for CreateSpace etc is ESSENTIAL. Dave Harris, 90% of the users will be using this for multi-page applications, and while I get what you say, I don't think that is how most designers will expect it to work. Spines are often edited on-the-fly as page numbers fluctuate.
  9. The beta doesn't like importing a page number into a master page - whether the current page or next page number makes no difference ; it just crashes anyway. I can however tell you the recovery files work well.
  10. There are times when a 3 page spread would be useful (as in I currently use on a regular basis in InDesign): book cover designs, tri-fold pamphlet design etc. Is this something that will work with the official release?
