  1. But the tip confused me at that moment because I was missing a crucial part, namely selecting the object beforehand, then switching to the node tool and then choosing menu “Select → All”. What made it worse was that I didn't understand the point of it, because if I wanted to select all the nodes, I could also just select the layer or the object?! But I only wanted to select a part of a combined geometry. What I understood from @GarryP was a way to select multiple nodes of different curves within a layer. I think, he didn't talk about the nodes of all curves. Because I wouldn't need to switch to the node tool to do that. Anyway, thank you very much for helping me.
  2. Of course, I read most of these help articles before opening this thread. You feel a bit stupid when there is already a solution and you just haven't found it. So thank you again for the quick help. Does a new feature request have to be opened or are those responsible reading this? In fact, I lack a bit of practice in using the Affinity Suite. This is particularly annoying since, with 25 years of experience, I was very confident in using the Creative Suite. In 2018 I purchased Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer, but was still able to work with the old CS5.5 until 2020, so there was no reason to switch. Since I now only use the whole thing privately, there are not enough projects that can train how to use the Affinity Suite. But it's getting better day by day.
  3. Thanks alot. I didn't know that and couldn't find it even after a lot of Google search. The feature request can now be closed!
  4. There are three options available to select all nodes of a curve. In my case I wanted to scale the inside of a gear, which was very easy with the selection frame. If the shape is more complex, the only option is to multiple select with Shift or select with the lasso. My idea: After clicking on a node of a curve, the entire curve could be activated by an additional double click on the already activated node. That would make work enormously easier. Maybe something like this can be achieved with an update.
  5. I'm glad I found this post so I don't have to write a new bug report. I have the same problem on a Mac Studio M2 Max with Studio Display. For the moment I have disabled metal rendering as a workaround and am hoping for an update that will fix this problem. Thank you! As a small addition: When you cut out the image and print it, it comes out of the printer much too light. So it's not just a problem with the view.
  6. For the sake of completeness, I would like to add that all functionalities are now available under 13.3.1. The problem was solved with the Open Core Patcher 0.6.3 and all graphics programs run flawlessly again on the patched system.
  7. Dear Patrick, dear Pauls, all three programs are running properly again. Your answers were a great decision-making aid for me. Thanks to Time Machine, everything is now running smoothly again under 13.2.1. It's too early to send the still capable iMac 13.2 to recycling. By the way: After many years with Adobe, I'm happy to be independent since 2018 and upgraded to V2 within the first hours of publication. After that, I was able to convince two more friends of the scope of services of the Affinity Suite. It took me a while to get used to it, but now I don't want to go back to Adobe. Although I still haven't mastered every detail, I like many things better than in the Creative Suite.
  8. Thank you very much for your answers. Yes, you're right. I used OpenCore and it seemed to work fine until 13.2.1, but there has been a big change in 13.3 (Apple broke support for the legacy 3802-based Metal GPUs). So I think best way is to go back to 13.2.1 instead of disabling AMFI. The other way would be, to work with Affinity 1.10 again, but I don't really want to... 😉 Also Autodesk Fusion 360 crashes at startup.
  9. Hello, since macOS 13.3, all Affinity apps are crashing directly after startup. From macOS 13 to 13.2.1 it worked absolutely fine. Is there a fix upcoming? Or shall I go back to 13.2.1 with all the problems, coming up with downgrading a Mac. Thank you very much! Regards, Michael Crash AfPho.rtf Crash AfDes.rtf Crash AfPub.rtf
  10. Yes of course. The screenshot shows an updated file (direction indicator is made orange), but publisher says, the file is ok, there is not option to "update". Attached the afphoto and the afpub-file, which causes crashing. Polo.afphoto Test.afpub
  11. Yeah, this seems to work, but publisher crashes while replacing the file. And the "Update"-Button is grey although the file ist updated.
  12. I'm so glad Affinity Publisher is available now so it will replace the adobe trio in the near future. First thing I tried, was to place an ".afphoto"-file with an embedded path to let the text flow around the path. It works great! But than I had to revise the picture and there was no option to replace the embedded file. So I had to place it again, scale it again, delete the first one, do the settings for flowing around the text. It would be helpful to have an option for replacing an existing picture with the same settings! Keep going on! It's a great piece of software!
