Funnily enough, back when Serif made Draw Plus, this was a feature of their software, they called it Auto Trace. They had a version of image trace before Adobe did. So I would love for them to bring it back and refine it for the Affinity suite. But I'm in favour of them taking the apple approach here, really get it right, and get to be stable before they fully release it.

Whenever you enter the toolbar customiser (for the top as oppose to either of the sides) and try to drag around the existing tools that reside in the tool bar you drag the entire application window around instead of just adjusting the position of the tools in the toolbar. Not sure if it is specific tools or not, in my experience it varies and can be random which it does this with. This happens on Mac OS as of the most recent update, and I believe before that. It also happens in Photo and Publisher, not just Designer. Toolbar Example.mov

I'm not that bothered, I was just interested. have it downloaded anyway. the only plus to having the App Store version is that you don't have to put in your activation key if you delete and re-download the app. studio link works either way and I can use the download from affinity on PC as well as mack if I need to which is a bonus.

I pre ordered Affinity Publisher for $35 un aware that it wouldn't allow me to download it from the Mac App Store, and after looking on the App Store it says that is costs $40. I am aware that I am able to get a refund in order to purchase it on the Mac App Store but I wanted to know If I would be refunded $40 in order do get it at the price on the App Store, or if I will only be refunded $35 (not that $5 is all that much in the grand scheme of things)?
