Problem disappeared the same way as it came. I believe that Sherif's followers from Nottingham did a great work somewhere in between updates ^
1) Anyway, back then I had found this problem when using multiple artboards (make sure you're working in the selected artboard)
2) I Installed new updates, created new document and it became ok

Hi! After release affinity 1.7 (windows desktop) I also have the same problem with snapping to grid.
Did you find any solution?

Hi @angusware I once had the same size problems but it was with PNG files, so what I did was simple, I used the export option in the file menu not the export persons.
The export option seems to preserve the correct size.
Even though now I have no problem with my export persona, I prefer to deliver using the export option for output like PDF, PNG and some specific jpeg.
Try and see if it helps
As well as you guys have problems with PNG and SVG formats I have the same issue with PDF (probably with the exporting as a whole) and even not using Export persona doesn!t help at all unfortunately.
Now I'm putting my hand up that I am another one with the same problem and would like to ask AFFINITY GUYS to help us. I don't want any workarounds.
I just don't understand why is this happening, doesn't make sense to me. I want to understand it, if it can't be simply solved
Thank you! =]

I've been trying to figure out how can I change width of line/brush stroke that goes gradually from 0 to any desired width. Maybe there is something in stroke/brush properties.
I tried:
- Properties when Stroke card selected
- also Edit brush (preassure)
So I edited my custom brush as shown in the picture below but curve still has equal width all the way.
Thanks for the advices or links to this kind of issue if there is already!

Hi there,
I recommend watching a few seconds from this video. It is pretty straight forward. You will get the idea pretty fast.
However, I would go for Affinity Photo and use tools here to adjust perspective of your design.
Take care!
