  1. Hi Windmill, Individual licences are required for each operating system. Allan
  2. Ok, that makes sense. Are you on the iOS 11 BETA then for your iPad? If so that could be a reason since the App store has been redesigned. Anything to do with app purchases from Apple has to be dealt with them directly. Hope you manage to get this resolved.
  3. Hi Manuzark. I'm curious as to why you went via iTunes on Mac and not directly to the app store on your iPad to make your purchase. In any case in iTunes and the store section on the right hand side is account, if you click it will show the Apple ID being used. If you are sure they are both the same then click on support in the same section or go to getsupport.apple.com for Apple to look into this for you. Your purchases on iTunes should show up on your iPad under the purchased section. Allan
  4. You could use the donut shape tool and adjust the start/end angle and add a triangle as the arrowhead. Allan
  5. Thanks, The great thing about art is that it's open to interpretation. I like the name 'The Returned', sounds like a TV show...
  6. Glad it's sorted, this also confused me when I first used the app. I'm sure they are open to suggestions.
  7. Hey JW85, The presets will only appear when you create them by clicking on the + button as already mentioned. Currently, you're under that section, if you go back to the 'Adjustments' category and scroll down, select curves you can then make the needed adjustments and create a preset by clicking on the + button. Hope this helps. Allan Thompson
  8. Here's another, created using Affinity Photo for iPad... made up of 5 images. Seriously, why is this so addictive! Allan Thompson
  9. Here is one I'm calling 'Taken', created on Affinity photo for iPad. Made up of 4 or so images. I've not spent much time using Photo lately due to working on the books in Designer but the iPad version makes it so much more fun especially when using Apple Pencil. Allan Thompson
  10. I agree. Would love to see modifier keys. I have the 9.7 version and I hold with one hand, when I add a shape and try to constrain I need to use two hands. Would be great to tap shift key to lock and then drag shape all with one hand using the pencil.
  11. Hi frpsx2, Your topic title 'Affinity as plugin to CS6' sounds like you want Affinity to work as a plug-in for CS6, do you mean you would like Topaz and OnOne as plug-ins for Affinity Photo? I'm sure there is a thread or two somewhere on here discussing what plug-ins are compatible and what the team are working on. Allan
  12. See attachment on how to delete. The images are stored within the app, you can export to iCloud Drive, Google Drive etc but not directly into the Apple Photos app. Allan
  13. *Top Left... With the layer selected you can also tap once with two fingers and choose duplicate
  14. There are many in a similar situation, especially if you've been using a different app for a while and of course a different work flow. For me, It was an easy switch and made a lot more sense in workflow, although I wasn't a heavy use of Ps I am now in Photo. What may help is to recreate a project, something you did in Ps create in Photo, besides the tutorials ask away on the forum. I've not looked back. The iOS and desktop versions are very similar in workflow and design, it took me a little while to play around with it first then I did what I suggested you do, I recreated a project from desktop to iOS and it was a joy. There is also a great little help icon in the bottom left, one tap and arrows pop up indicating what each icon and section does... I often hear people going back to Android and Windows purely because of not knowing how to or they find it easier, I would be the same going across to Windows from Mac OS. A bit of patience and time is all that's required.
  15. Just an FYI there are other pens that the iPad Air 2 supports... http://www.adonit.net/jot/pixel/ The adonit range look nice and would be my choice after the Apple Pencil
  16. There are 3 files there so far... *Edit interestingly the icon is correct on iPhone and the web just not the iPad.
  17. Ok, hope this helps. In my iCloud options if I check/uncheck the Affinity Photo folder it controls both Affinity Photo and Designer folders. If I uncheck Affinity Photo the check box for Affinity Designer works as it should. ????
  18. Thanks Miguel, The folder is on the Mac in iCloud Drive, I just can't see it on the iPad,iPhone or Web. Any new folder I create does appear. I've followed your steps and this what I see... Here is my Mac and Finder: And my iPad: As I mentioned the icon isn't correct on iPad...
  19. Thanks Miguel, The iCloud issue has been a little pain for me for a while now and yes Files in iOS 11 will change things a bit, actually looking forward to it. There are always solutions although not always ideal. For a V.1 it is an amazing app and I'm fully confident it will get better, as for me 'bearing' with you, well I've been an avid supporter since birth so I'll hang around a bit longer ; ) Thanks for the clarity! Allan
  20. I'm currently having that discussion here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/41221-affinity-ipad-how-to-save-selection-for-use-in-another-project/ it appears that is the way.
  21. So, any files created in Affinity Photo on iPad can't be accessed by photo on Mac unless I choose 'save as'? Surely it should auto save to Affinity Photo folder and then accessed on Mac, otherwise we're saving two copies right? Do we then have to go and delete one copy and open up the 'save as'version? Even then there is no way to save to the Affinity Photo folder as it does not exist and the Designer folder is grayed out...
