I have not done this with a watermark but I do run batch processes that execute macros.  I think these would be the steps you could take:

    1. Create a macro for your watermark text and placement.

    2. Run a Batch process that executes the macro you created for your watermark.

When you run a Batch Job you can indicate:

    1. Which files to include in the batch,

    2. What file types you want to save.

    3. Where you want to save your output file.

    4. What macro do you want to run.

If you go to the link posted below to the Official Affinity Photo (Desktop) Video Tutorials you will find a tutorial on how to create text, creating macros and batch processing. The tutorials on all subjects are excellent.

I am just a user of Affinity Photo and not a tech person on this site.  The area where you placed your question (Resources) is for resources being made available.  I think this is problem a better area in the forums for asking a question and getting a response from tech but I just can't think of it off hand. If you look at the titles of the various areas of the forum you may get other thoughts.

EDIT: Just found the area on these forums for asking questions.  The name of the area is Questions.

    Hope this helps.

    Peace

Thanks for the compliment; however I'm basically following the creations done by others because Affinity and couple of others are making it easier to do . But I am working something that is mine; well I have not seen it before and it's pretty hard to come up with anything totally new . Much of the stuff we do actually started inside a view camera, and a darkroom years before digital was even a dream

    Hello!

Best luck with your next step.:)

  3. I would like to answer the question please try it, it is definitely possible that the typeface Acherus Grotesque doesn't actually support Superscript/Subscript. When other applications encounter fonts that don't support these OpenType features, they oftentimes "fake it" by shrinking the font size and transforming the layer upwards or downwards. We don't do that. Also, currently Figma does not communicate through the UI when/if these features are available or not, so it may appear to "not work".

It's definitely on our list of things we'd love to improve in the future, and as you already know, you got the eyes and ears of Dylan on it, so it's certainly on our radar!

    HTH!

Yes there are many similar applications like this too.  The current iPads have two issues:

         1. low friction service

         2. poor pressure sensitivity

When we draw, our brain adjusts to the medium we are working with, but something with less friction requires our reaction time to be that much faster.  Something like paper is ideal because the friction gives feedback to our brain and we can react and draw much more accurately for shorter strokes (opposite for longer strokes).

The upcoming iPads may have a more pressure sensitive screen, but I'm not sold that it will be what we imagine it will.  The watch can tell the difference between a light touch and a deep touch, but I'm not sure what the in-between is and that's what's important.  We would like it to be as close to analog as possible, like how a marker or ink pen would work.

According to the Kickstarter page, that company has been doing this for almost a decade — I'm surprised I haven't seen one of these in person.  This is what I've been wanting out of my iPad; a full-fledged operating system.  This would be awesome, except for the price tag.  I wouldn't pay them double the price of the laptop.  I was thinking it would be a $200-500 cost over top the cost of the laptop, but $2k-3k is absurd!  Still, nice product, I'm sure someone that has the $$ would pay that much.

Thanks for sharing the answer. You have shared some crucial tips to me. This answer is beneficial to me.

IMO...Both...you're not breaking the bank...! :D  Also, in that list, even game graphics (am an game artist, too, among other stuff) can very well require vector graphics, if casual games for the web, streaming, or, for phone apps, etc, where graphics need to be displayed at many resolutions and screen proportions. You will need as well raster graphics for a bunch of games, too. If you need even basic photo editing, you can do very few things with the Pixel persona ( a raster module included in AD) , you will really need AP.

Logo design --- > vectors, with some exceptions in games for some game companies, but that's (raster only) definitely not a good way to make a logo...

Special Effects, GFX ... Mostly is AP...

UI design... Largely AD, not that u couldn't somehow do it to with AP, but not ideal. (I was a web designer for decades, and only used PS. But responsive design has changed all)

You can do pixel art (games, etc) with AD pixel persona. Ain't easy, but I was able to do it. (specialized pixel art tools are much better, but there's the advantage of a tool for everything). Same abilities plus quite more (still, far from a dedicated pixel art tool), for doing pixel art in AP.

SO, yeah, is pretty cheap, purchase both, IMO. Be sure to very intensively use the trials, these are there for you to check if the product fits your needs ! (some people seem to skip this hugely important step). 10 days  is more than enough, a tip: download one first, use the 10 days fully with that app. Then download the other, so u can focus on each trial quite more.

Thanks for sharing the valuable information it will be informative to me. I would like to share about affinity software. It is very smooth for use and there are multiple options to create a new thing using the customized options.:)

  6. First, click on the Apple icon in the upper-left corner of your Mac and select System Preferences (or just click the icon on your Dock).

Select Keyboard, and then select Customize Touch Bar. You’ll now be able to move your mouse cursor down to your Touch Bar to remove any icons you don’t want on your Control Strip or, if you expand it first, the full Touch Bar.

If you're not yet an owner of the Filter Forge license key, you can take advantage of a free 30-day fully-functional trial. :)

Could you share the free 30-day fully-functional trial with deep information? I want to use that free trial

Sometimes it can be as easy as Subtract being selected on the Context Toolbar instead of Add. If you can do a screen recording showing the issue, this will help in narrowing the cause.

Thanks for the answer. It is the helpful answer to me.

Do the reboot as suggested and then right click and OPEN. and see if that does it. If not try right clicking and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR which is normally not the best advice

The one thing to check in between each try is task manager to make sure it didn't start and hang. If it did, kill the process before trying again or they will just keep piling up

Thanks for the answer, I have tried as your the answer. I solved it my problem.

I haven't seen this before, so I figured I would share. This is a simple cartoon like effect. This is similar to the pseudo cell shading tutorial by Affinity, but that's because they used the edge detect tool too. So for what it's worth here we go.

First copy your background layer, CMD-J

Go to Filter, Detect, Detect Edges. Set the blend mode to subtract.

Add the adjustment layer, posterize. Adjust the levels for taste. My example uses 4.

That's it. Now you have a basic cartoon stylized picture. You can use all sorts of additional methods from here. But this seems a good starting point. Hope you find something useful in this. Cheers.

    Hi @crabtrem

You have shared the good and helpful information sure I will apply your crucial tips.

Small celebration. I've now uploaded 100 Affinity Photo video tutorials to my InAffinity YouTube channel.

    https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOnLUmyPHr2rayOHVHWsHVw

Mostly, they are for beginners, though I throw in recent discoveries, effects, etc.

To properly celebrate, I'm now off on a photographing jolly, up the American East Coast, as far as Nova Scotia, no less.

    TTFN.

It was the great and congratulation for completing 100 affinity photo Video.
