Ah, thank you and good to know. Fortunately, all my ai-files have a pdf-stream.

@GabrielM is there a reason why Affinity Designer cannot export to ai? Even if it is an older version, it would be pretty convenient for everyone who needs to collaborate with Adobe-users...

You can try exporting your Assessment Storyboard as pdf, and reimport it in Illustrator. Then, save it as ai.
