  1. I get the instruction to select an RGB pixel layer before entering the Develop persona. A tech-support answer says to check the layers panel, and if the parentheses don't contain "pixel" you have to rasterize the image; however, my layers panel has only one layer, and it does say "(Pixel)." I vaguely remember being told to check for what kind of document the image was by clicking on the Document tab, but I don't see anything that seems appropriate to my situation.
  2. This topic is actually not new; however, I’m posting it here today because the solutions given in previous posts do not work for me in Affinity Photo which I’m using on an HP laptop running Windows 10. I have the background layer selected. That layer has a parenthetical “(pixel).” Nevertheless, I hit that same barrier: “Please select an RGB pixel layer..” etc. I’ve even rasterirzed that layer to no effect. Even if the background pixel layer is the only layer, I can’t get past the “Please select...” barrier. It would help if there were a visual tutorial showing the EXACT steps to take. Is that possible?
