  1. Thanks for that. I was not aware. I dont buy into the planned obsolescence theory, but these things makes more sense now.
  2. Windows 10 has many different versions which have already reached their end of life. There are plenty of applications that are running on MacOS that were written for Intel based Macs with no issue on the ARM processors thanks to Rosetta. Also, Microsoft (and others) are offering ARM based processors for Windows that does the same for X86(_64) based applications but not as well. I find @michie reasoning intriguing. I'm not sure what about iTunes they are concerned about losing with an upgrade, but I understand it.
  3. except for it installs, and it actually has a higher install success rate without hoops to go through to install it (and IMO quicker). All the issues are varying based on after the install (DAM software doesn't use default applications). I understand that change is unwelcome but nothing here has been above inconvenient for a moment.
  4. The enterprise discussion on this post makes me feel like most people are not familiar with MSI files and their preference for deployment of software. I'm just making an observation and an assumption but .doc files became .docx files. .xls files became .xlsx files. Maybe .msi files became .msix files. sure It changes where you have been expecting to see things since Windows XP, but it is time for change. It looks like Serif just got on board early.
  5. Better question. With the list of new features clearly drawn out, why didn't you see it wasn't listed before you purchased version 2?
  6. I'm really surprised to read this. I bought affinity photo 3 years ago with the understanding that updates were only included with my payment up to version 2. Serif seemed (to me anyways) to do a good job at being upfront about that.
  7. not its not while in the middle of drawing a stroke, its always in between strokes
  8. sorry for the late response. Yes I do adjust my brush sizing using those keys.
  9. Thats not embarrassing at all. Corrected file attached. The crashes are random and spaced out so I'm not sure that I would be able to catch it with a recording effectively. The brush that's being used is whatever the default brush is. I have yet to get any more complex than that. Affinity Designer_2019-08-22-184139_Shanes-MacBook-Pro.crash
  10. I Haven't found any consistency other than its only on the Mac version of the app. I don't have this issue with the same version on the Windows app.
