Thanks Walt, I've seen a screenshot with the error and it's definitely V2 she's opening it in.

The file was shared via dropbox. She has just sent me back the file and I can open it. I suppose I'll have to contact Serif but they only seem to be contactable on twitter or facebook.

No, I'm using Windows 11 and colleague is using Windows 10.

I'm having the same problem. I opened a V1 Publisher file and made some changes to it using V2 and saved it as a new file. I then sent the V2 file to a colleague who tried to open it in V2 and got the error saying 'The file includes features from a later version of Affinity'. I can open the file in V2 but my colleague can't. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi In Designer is it possible to save effect presets? For example if I make a bevel/emboss effect and want to reuse it can I save it as a preset? Thanks

A few suggestions Channel select hi-light Currently when saving a spare channel the channel isn't hi-lighted in the interface to show which channel has been selected. Replace all It would be useful to be able to replace all instances of a placed image at once instead of having to do each seperately.
