The original image was taken against an ugly black plastic sheet (i still have this, unchanged)
I saw a tutorial that showed how you could paint a background image around a main feature, I thought I could use this technique to change the background around a group of people instead of cutting the people out and placing them in a new background, that went well, now I need to replace one person in the group however when I have done this I am left with the shape of their body in the background and I cannot edit it, I can switch off the background layer to reveal the clear chequered background which still shows the body shape, i have tried the undo brush, inpainting brush with out success. Can anyone advise or should I start over?
