see above the font size that is larger is connected to the system font size override but there are aspects of the app that just stays the same really tiny size - if you added a slider to the interface section for font size that would be awesome. PS i lurve your apps - keep up the development cycle and stave off that mud brick mob from gobbling you up and absorbing your intellectual property - dont want to see another Macromedia thing. Keep up the innovation. you have a legion of fans backing you up.

hi i was hoping with the new v2 of the software that the capability to increase the tiny interface font size would be sorted - im running on a 4k monitor and its a struggle to read them - i have tried the windows 11 system font size increase but not all the fonts will increase in affinity applications - can you please add this to the development plan as i see others have been asking for it since 2018 i prefere to be able to do this within the settings of the app and not a system klunky work around.

Been trying to see if i could import a gradient swatch that i had custom made in the swatches panel into a gradient fill in the FX Layer Effect - i would love to see a drop down arrow selector that would then display the custom gradients from the swatches.

thats awesome i just had the same issues exporting a logo out for onscreen use and need specific sizes - just needed to key in the width in pixels and away they went - made sence when i saw it - such a great app - you just need to get your head around a few things... each day learn something new.

Do you think that you will be adding an Epub export facility to publisher in the near future thats compatible with Amazon, Kindle and others?

having a weird issue - have the latest build 1.8.2.620 I have a stroke on a line and I have also used the pressure graph on the original line to go from thick to thin back to thick - but when i export it into print PDF the line pressure no longer outputs and it reverts to the underlaying line weight - i have tried - expand stroke and for some reason convert to curves is greyed out???? i have also tried other formats on export and eachtime the pressure stroke reverts to a single thine line - the only time it worked on export into PDF is when i had an effect of a gradient fill and then pdf just converted it to raster output. hi all i have received a jpg from a publisher and when i open the file in Designer or Photo it shows transparency masks...but i can't seem to see the complete image - the weirdest thing I have ever come across... Screengrab to show you the opened file in Photo

Yup Affinity this tool is paramount and should be a stable within the toolset - the ability to grab the handles of any object or text and free transform it.... NEEDS TO BE IN HERE GUYS - WHEN WILL IT COME IN - the last we can see in 2017 is that its in the cards - its Time to add it.

I would so love to see a freeform gradient tool in Designer - you are almost there where you can select the way points in the linear tool but to then be able to have them as a controllable spline would be awesome. Is this something you will include into future updates?

how can you find out whats not supported as vector output when using pdf to export - im having files come back from printers saying that the pdfs im sending them are rasterising things like text any ideas why - is it something to do with the export settings of Rasterise is set to unsupported properties? Is there a document or tutorial explaining pdf export in Designer?

I would love to see added to the marks is fold lines and even the possibility for die cuts and preferations added to the printers marks on pdf export - BTW it looks great and love how familiar it feels - looking forward to your final squishy brick company killer - A motion graphics / video editor

Hi All, i have an A4 document that i want to fold specifically the doc has 4mm bleed - how do i get Printer fold marks to show up on the Print Ready Pdf? i can get the registration crop etc but no idea how to incorporate the fold marks

yes thats how it used to work for me with the bottom artboard in the layers was the first page (only been using Affinity for a short while) but for some strange reason it would not render out all the pages in the pdf export with all pages selected it would just duplicate the front page for every page - really weird and thanks for the compliment MikeW the client loved it too - im in the process of transferring my studio across from Adobe and love working in Affinity - just need to sort out these weird little unexpected things - i dont know if its the Big A making updates to theirs that's deliberately causing havoc for Affinity or my quirky way of doing things on the fly.

I did use the File export function and not the persona one, and i set up the pdf for print output in the options output. I did create a unique artboard without importing elements into it for the cover page and only used the elements needed for it unlike what i did for the catalogue pages. When i built the artboard i did have all the content in and then i duplicated each one then deleted the unwanted items from each artboard. im guessing this is where it went wrong and somehow nested the contents - it was a very unexpected outcome and a possible issue within Affinity designer to keep an eye out for. Ohh and using the latest build of Designer too btw.

Hi i have just put together a multipage pdf using the artboard method and when the file opens up in acrobat it goes through a multiimage render assembly process of every image in the pdf - i have never seen this happen before - Please have a look at the pdf and tell me if its doing strange things on your machine (im running on a win10pro 64bit with acrobat pro CC) when i exported the pdf from designer using the all pages function it would render all the pages the same as the front cover - so my only way to export individual pages was one by one out of designer and then assemble the pages in acrobat. i never had to do that before in the last build any ideas folks and are anyone else having issues with the VERY important PDF export fuctions? Please dont spam the owner with dubious prints requests :) unless of course you want to buy something then she would be very happy to oblige :) Harmonic Blueprint Orderform.pdf
