  1. Hi, Can’t seem to do this in AD on iPad. Is there no context toolbar on the iPad version to set Baseline distance of Reverse Text Path? I can’t find these.
  2. Not sure if it’s the same thing but I’m getting crashes when I try to place image. This is using iPadOS 13.1.1
  3. Now I’ve had another issue, just lost a document palette I created and have been using for the past 2 days. It has vanished from the application/document I am working on.
  4. Hi, I had a file in Designer. I wanted to export but it was taking ages to generate the export for a PNG that was only going to be 500k in size. So I exited the file I was working on, back to the gallery. Then closed Designer. My file should have been saved but when I restarted Designer (which did fix the export issue) my file had the last 30 mins of work gone and it wasn’t in the history. I have had this happen before.
  5. The Affinity Designer roadmap thread was started in 2014 and is now 84 pages long. No one really wants to wade through this to work out what has been delivered and what is still to come. It’s similar for Photo I wonder if Affinity could take a leaf from the Omni Group, who post in their official blog at the start of every year what they delivered last year and what they plan to work on this year. See here for the latest one: https://www.omnigroup.com/blog/omni-roadmap-2019 This helps everyone to see the progress made and also sets expectations for the year ahead without committing to firm dates.
  6. Hi. Thanks. Good to know it's not me and I agree it could be clearer about how the Pencil and Brush Textures interact.
  7. Hi. Your suggestions is exactly what I did but the Pencil just draws a Solid line not a Brush Texture. So I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong?
  8. Hi Gabe, Thanks for responding. I am confused then as why it says in the help section for the Pencil Tool: "Line Styles (e.g., dashed or brush textures) can be applied using the Stroke Studio. For brush textures, pick a brush from the Brushes Studio." It seems from this that brush strokes can be applied to lines drawn with the Pencil Tool. Is the text in the help guide wrong?
  9. I am using the Pencil Tool and in Stroke Studio, I select Brush Texture Line Style. But when I draw a Pencil stroke, the currently selected brush is not applied. I just get a standard stroke. If I then go into Brush Studio and pick a Brush it is applied to the selected stroke. I seem to be able to move between Solid and Dash Line styles without any problem. But when I select None style it jumps back to solid and when I select Brush Texture, I just get a Solid style. My question is can a Brush Texture be applied to a Pencil stroke whilst it is being drawn or is this style always applied after the stroke is drawn?
