ChromaLinda reacted to Alfred in Affinity Design Dashed Lines not working on iPad 8th Gen
You can’t apply a dash pattern if the stroke has a pressure profile applied. Tap on the graph in the Stroke Studio and press ‘Reset Pressure’ to fix the problem.

ChromaLinda reacted to Spookyzoo in Affinity Designer iPad Color Palette Import?
I think I found a way to do this using a desktop file to include it's palette into iPad on import. But native palette import and creation from image would be very welcome on iPad Designer.

ChromaLinda reacted to firstdefence in Scaling group. Line thickness not scaling
If a stroke has been applied there is a check box in the Stroke Panel to scale with object.

ChromaLinda got a reaction from darthneko in Move tool keeps transforming
I’m also having this issue, Move tool selected, but the selected object keeps transforming. I use an Apple pencil also. I tried deselecting and selecting again, but the transforming sometimes happens then too.
———
Well, after trial and error, I noticed I have much better success if I do not select the object first and then try to move it, but instead DEselect it and use the move tool without tapping the object first. Sometimes it will move if already selected, but results seem more consistent if the object is not selected.
Fantastic app overall! Really enjoying learning my way around it, the combo of vector and raster is awesome! Extremely well thought out for iPad use!

ChromaLinda got a reaction from Phil K. in Move tool keeps transforming
Phil K., a fine example of the frustration of not being able to move an object! My experience too.

ChromaLinda reacted to Alfred in Brush picker that works like the color picker
With a suitable brush stroke selected, go to the Document menu and choose ‘Defaults > Synchronize from Selection’.

ChromaLinda reacted to MotionHouse in Transforming by percentage (not pixel or other)
Got it, thanks! I still think it would be helpful to add “percentage” for those of us that are math-challenged, ha!

ChromaLinda reacted to MEB in Export on iPad to "Photos"
Hi SimonAM,
Welcome to Affinity Forums
To save the image to Photos, tap the Document icon on the top left, select Export, select the file format and desired settings, then tap the Share button in the bottom left( still in the Export window) and select Save Image (from the bottom column). The image will then be added to the Photos app. Tap Cancel to exit the Export screen in Affinity.

Is there a way to import a color palette into Affinity Designer on iPad? And if not will we see that feature soon?
