  1. Hello together,

i am wondering if it is possible to adjust a mask by using curves, contrast and so on to seperate the midtones and get more either black or white color in the mask.

If i create a mask by using for example red tones, i want to edit this mask by using a curve and make lighter grey tones white and darker grey tones black.

However, i can’t manage to do this in affinity photo. When I option+click the mask, i can see it and i can paint onto it, but i can’t apply curves to seperate the shades of grey.. I also tried by dragging a curve onto the mask icon, but it didn’t change anything.

Maybe someone has a clue or knows that this just doesn’t work in AP.

    Best regards

    Wolfgang
