  1. Maybe I am just being daft, but I can find no "undo / redo" button in the interface...
  2. For the forthcoming #qcensus2018 campaign of the Quasar Framework, I made the official art. There is a complete write-up that I did in "utopian-io" conributor style on steem. Here is the announcement: https://busy.org/@quasarframework/the-quasar-census-2018 You can read about the process here: https://staging.busy.org/@nothingismagick/qcensus2018-campaign-graphics-breakdown I only used Affinity Photo. The one "interesting" thought I had is more of a question for the development team... I would love to be able to render my history to a video automatically. For educational purposes it would be very cool. I can write the ffmpeg script to concat the images together, but I can't figure out how to automatically dump each stage of the history to a png. Anybody have a tip for me???
  3. This is actually in reference to a German design style (that I first saw in Hamburg - Thalia Theater) of breaking the words on purpose to fit them into a box, which I thought was appropriate considering the contextual background of the presentation. FYI: This text means: "Too dumb to be a human, ears too small to be a pig."
  4. I used Photo on iOS (iPad Pro 9'7") to make a slide for a presentation by Fefe from Fefe's Blog. Basically he made an open call for an original work on his feed (about the ways in which our approach to designing technology paves the way for future legacy problems). We had a brief conversation about what he wanted and I shot some original photos of plaster casts of some sculptures, collaged on top the Magic Leap and dropped in the text. He loved it.
  5. I am nothingismagick - France-based systems architect, developer & designer. I actually used Photoshop 1.0 in the 90's, Gimp / Inkscape in the 00's and moved to the command-line in the 10's to make generative designs. I am a core team member of the Quasar Framework, and am currently looking into ways to create two-way bindings between design software (like Affinity Designer) and auto-generating code blocks using a single-source of truth. For an idea about a project that comes close to what I mean (albeit using SKETCH), check this out: https://github.com/seek-oss/html-sketchapp-cli Any tips or guidance on API interfacing with Designer, pushing commits to a GIT repository and autogeneration of Assets from HTML would be really great.
