Check out View > Studio > Text Frame. You have fill and stroke options there for the selected text frame. -
Preflight panel?
VarrusKane replied to VarrusKane's topic in Feedback for Affinity Publisher V1 on Desktop
Serif is always trying to find better way to do things in their Affinity product line. I have trust in them. I agree with you. Your idea seems interesting. the custom note warning feature could be very useful. -
I love how Affinity Publisher turned out. Can we except something similar to the Preflight panel in InDesign? Thanks for the hard work!

Yes please. Using soft hyphens all over the place is not acceptable for an efficient workflow with large documents. I use HunSpell to hyphenate ebooks in Calibre.

Changing email that is tied to purchase
VarrusKane replied to VarrusKane's topic in Customer Service, Accounts and Purchasing
I've changed the email associated with my Affinity account, thank you. If merging of my forum accounts is possible, then yes, that would be much appreciated.- 4 replies

Hello! I've purchased Affinity Designer and Photo when they came out for Windows, but it was with an email address that I no longer have (deleted it). Is it possible to change it to the new one, so I can use my current email address for installs? Will this cause any future problems? Extra questions: this one's my old account https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/profile/42426-tamascs/ . It's also tied to my old, no longer active email address, is there something I can do to recover it? Thanks in advance!

That poster is vector art. It is essentially like these https://www.google.hu/search?q=vector+art&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiy-qHgr_vSAhUBmxQKHf8UBMAQ_AUICCgB&biw=1920&bih=950#tbm=isch&q=vector+art+portrait&*, but with a minimized four color palette. You have to identify the shadows, midtones, highlights and use the appropriate colors for those. Of course, I could be mistaken and Pedro will have a video about this soon.

AD is a breeze to use compared to the old and also very powerful, but clunky Adobe Illustrator. AD has it's flaws, but it is very well thought out. Keep up the great work guys and thank you!

Hello everyone! Great to see there's a nice community around Affinity software. I've been a Photoshop user for about 10 years now, never used Illustrator too much, because it always felt clunky to me. Now, I'm having a blast with Designer, just wanted to show two of my recent wallpapers. Theres a little surprise on the moon there.
