  1. Sorry if this is a duplicate - I searched but could not find anything. I am importing a Press-Ready PDF/X-1, a full A4 page ad supplied with crop marks and 3mm bleed. Publisher wants to crop the PDF to the TrimBox 210x297. As I need to include the 3mm all round bleed in the Publisher document - it should be using the PDF BleedBox. This is the default action in InDesign. Publisher is really getting there now. The inclusion of the BleedBox is a must in my work in magazine and book design. thanks
  2. Thanks for replies - quick update. I understand that any data saved to ‘On My iPad’ will take up space but it is outside the Designer data space and therefore should not show up under storage usage for Designer. My issue was that with all my documents saved & closed in Designer Documents and Data for Designer still stood at over 1Gb - even alloa\wing for brushes and other global user data this seemed excessive. After rebooting the iPad the Docs & data went down to around 200 Mb which is acceptable. I have found this lag between deleting data and having the space released in many other iOS apps - seems to be an Apple thing - which is not at all surprising. thanks for you comments.
  3. I have noticed the Designer storage space rising recently. I have no open documents in Designer - I have saved them to ‘On my iPad’ and Settings is showing Designer Documents and Data as running at over 1 Gb. Is there a way of clearing the cache or is this just down to iOS’s crazy cache management? Thanks in advance.
  4. Forgot to say - it is a real pleasure getting support through this forum. Adobe could learn a few things. Great work.
  5. OK - thanks for the answer. Shame - it is one of my most used Illustrator tools. One on my regular design jobs it to prepare line film for a silkscreen company. So from a composite coloured artwork, each colour needs to be selected, sent to a separate layer and converted to black. I will look at Global colours as a workaround. thanks
  6. I have looked in the help and searched throughout Designer on iPad for a similar edit function as ‘Recolor Artwork’ on Illustrator. I want to changed all objects of a particular colour say Red to Blue. I know it is possible if all the objects are Symbols but as far as I can see not on an ad hoc basis.
