Yes, I think so, too. Publisher should include all types of quotation marks for optical alignment by default. But it's great that you can customize the alignment for each character. For example using DIN with it's straight "Aufstrich" in C and G for example I de-activated the alignment. Very nice we can do it this way. 🙏

Oh, good question: but actually it would make sense in both applications, I believe – in Designer in case of typographic logo design and in Publisher for icons/badges in page layouts.

Another essential feature I would like to suggest is the addition of vector and other objects on a line or in a frame of text thus it can flow with the rest of the text.

It would be nice to be able to be able to rotate single letters/characters on a line or in a frame of text – PixelPest has posted a nice suggestion as a mock-up of this option here:

Thank you very much for you fast reply and creative work-around! I just tried it and I think for now I can work with that. For the future of Designer an option to rotate individual characters would be a nice-to-have feature – but the other option: to add vector (or pixel) objects to a line or frame of text is an essential function, I believe.

I am looking for the very same option, but can't find it. Alternatively I would convert the character to a path, manipulate it outside the text line and then... I would like to add it as a mere vector object to the text line, but that does not seem to work either. Does anyone have an idea for this?
