  1. I see that this one has been around for a while (4+ years) but it would be helpful to be able to rename spare channels as part of a macro. Renaming is possible in other actions (creating a curve layer for example) - why not this one?
  2. hi - I've only just downloaded the dmg from the DxO site and this is the screen on install so I assumed I'm on 2.5?
  3. Thanks for the info - all good until '3 Import Plugins'. The 'Authorise Global' button is greyed out - see screenshot. Any ideas anyone? Thanks Nick
  4. I'm having problems as well. I downloaded the latest Nik DMG this morning which produces apps not plugins as before. I've contacted DXO but there's no way I presume that Affinity is going to recognise apps as plugins! In addition, when installing Nik you can add an application for it to recognise. Affinity Photo is greyed out. If anyone has any idea what I'm doing wrong please reply! Thanks - Nick
  5. Also worth mentioning that you need to have a file open before the import button in the Macro Studio Panel becomes live. Saves a lot of frustrated clicking! Great macro - thanks hanshab!
  6. Phew, I thought I was going crazy! Thanks Callum, I'd completely forgotten I'd switched personas.
  7. Hi Callum and Ron - still no joy. I don't have a preview mode button (this is the desktop version as per this forum) but if you compare the menu with the preferences options in this screenshot there's something not quite right...! My version is the 1.7.1 and i seem to remember there being a Preview option in the view menu in the beta but I'm not sure. Anyone from Affinity care to contribute?
  8. Thanks Ron but neither works for me and I can't find any reference to 'Preview Mode' in either Publisher or Photo!
  9. Hi - where is 'Hide all Guides' in Publisher? I've found reference to it in previous posts on the forum but neither Publisher or Photo appear to have it in the view menu. It's a rather useful feature of course and in Publisher, it's not possible to preview the document without at least the boxes around text!
