Several of my art club are having the same issues as this report! We gave 3 of us that the app crashes in Affinity Designer! We are all up to the latest version of Designer and iOS! Crashing to the point of not being able to get anything done in Designer! It was already starting but became worse with iOS update. I also would have ever file not appear in the gallery until I clicked on the top header of New Project.. several are completely unable to work at the moment… please rush an update to fix this!!!! They may be small but they still play on a computer screen or iPad! The shorts have really helped me learn all the new tools from the new version 2.. that’s what there intent is! Quick and simple instead of hour long detailed videos you don’t have time for. There is a quick remedy for not watching something you don’t like rather than being rude….. scroll right on by!! Thanks Teek for all your hard work and time on helping people learn simple solutions.

Sorry I did not receive a notification if this! So I had to completely reinstall my whole iPad and remove version 1 for it to work! I have reinstalled everything so I could not try it this way!

I was in the Affinity Designer - iPad - Assets disappeared after a lockup in the middle of trying to install an asset and whole thing locked up. I had to exit Affinity completely and reboot my iPad. When I went back into Affinity Designer all assets were gone. It also will not let me install anything in any panel - Styles, Brushes or Assets. This happened to another person I work with, and she had to completely wipe her iPad to get it to work again. I am in the process of this now. And this is time neither one of us have at the moment to do this. I have also had lots of issues with my iPad Affinity Publisher. It corrupted an entire kids book I was working on and it practically had to be redone to find all the issues it caused. It does not always save correctly either.

These are fantastic. Keep up the great work. Would love to see Therese through Affinity Designer, Photo and Publisher.. maybe these would be great in lots of other apps. Like Canva!!! Vella

I had a great deal of fun with all these Text Guides. I have a long way to go to be any good with Text designs of any kind, but these guides made this so much easier and much more enjoyable. You won't be disappointed with these. Vella

I tried this and it made no difference

I forgot i have a 12.9 pro gen 5. Brand new. And Affinity just won’t run……

Mine is doing the exact same thing. I notice it looks strange in layers first. It is like they are disappearing. When I would try to save an art board after changing the number. I just got a brand new iPad cause I thought it was my old iPad. This is ridiculous. I completely reinstalled Affinity Designer too. I tried to get a screen shot but it just kept crashing…..

Hi it is happening in both scenarios. But most of the time it is always when I copy an item and pasted it into another page! Or exporting an item and when I open it all FX items have list there Applyed changes!

When exporting a project in PNG to Photos on iPad I have an area where I lightly whited it out under letters so letters show up better. When exported - it just blacked the area whited area out? What can I do to stop this? The same file shows up in my phone just fine.

Every time I use an FX tool it is constantly changing back to plain lines! I had some projects that I spent a great deal of time on and had not opened them in a couple of weeks.. When I did open them all my highlights had reverted to a simple line. What can I do to prevent this?
