Hi!
I’d like to use the Freehand selection Tool in Polygonal mode. What seems to happen is something like this: I choose Polygonal mode, and then, in the middle of my selecting with the tool, it suddenly starts behaving like Freehand mode (see screencast).
Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Cheers MEB, that did the trick:) Are there any keyboard shortcuts to change between the Modes?

Hi!
I’m in the pixel persona. I want to select an area of the layer I’m working on and delete it. I choose the Free hand Selection Tool. I draw the shape of the area I want to delete. Now I want to close the shape. At this point I have two options:
a) I hover over the starting point of the shape I’m drawing. The info-bar at the bottom of the screen says ‘Click to add closed selection’. I click. Result: The shape I’m drawing disappears.
b) I hover outside the starting point of the shape I’m drawing. The info-bar at the bottom of the screen says ‘Double-Click to close the selection’. I double-click. Result: The shape I’m drawing disappears.
Question: How do I close a shape drawn by the Free hand Selection Tool? And, ultimately, how do I manually select and delete an area of a pixel layer?
See screencast for a demonstration.

Freehand selection Tool switching modes by itself?

Hi Dan! I know about the modifiers. What seems to have confused me is that my MacBook is set up to interpret a double-tap on the trackpad as a drag (ie. click-hold), and I’ve probably been to quick and accidentally double-tapped the trackpad in the middle of my selecting - thereby putting the tool in Freehand mode. Probably something worth being aware of for other trackpad-gesture using Mac people out there:)
