I'm trying to do this with the vector brush tool. I can draw a tiny circle, or a tiny line, but not a dot. I'm trying to keep the workflow fast (i.e. not switch tools, nor unnecessary length of line)

I'm trying to draw 'dots' on the screen with the vector paintbrush tool It seems the screen doesn't register a single point, but instead I have to drag out a tiny line to get it to register. I'm using the Vector Brush tool on a Surface Pro 4 and wonder how to get the "Controller" set from "none" to "Automatic" or "Pressure"? I set it once in my document and it stays until I close and reopen the docu. Please tell me how to set it permanently. Thanks
