I’ve tried one more reset today and it’s finally working properly. If it happens again, I can always try to install the software in a different computer just to check if the issue persists. If it does I’ll forward it to you. Thank you once more!

Hi Gabe, thanks! I’ve tried to reset the app but it didn’t fix it. I’ve also created a new document to see if this issue was present and it wasn’t. So this is only happening in one particular document, for some reason, and while using a Wacom tablet and a stylus pen. If I switch to a mouse the stroke maintains my intended settings, but as soon as I use the stylus pen the stroke switches back to that second image in my original post. No matter how many times I change the stroke properties, my next attempt to draw a line will always revert to that.

Greetings, I'm trying to create an illustration in Affinity Designer but I'm having a little issue with the pencil tool pressure. I'm using these settings in the stroke panel as shown in the first picture however, every time I add another brush stroke my settings always revert back to a more linear kind of pressure and stay that way for every new brush stroke I draw. My question is: Why does this happen and how can I keep these settings without the software changing them for me?
