  1. That’s unfortunately not a complete solution, as the vector brushes that come with Affinity Design are fairly limited (for instance, there’s no spray brush).
  2. And yes, I know about the texture line style but see no reason why only vector brushes can be applied when that is the stroke setting
  3. I also support this feature. Conceptually, there isn’t much of a difference, except that the brush tool records velocity and pressure variables, and the path tool doesn’t. Different uses, yes, but that doesn’t mean the brushes themselves shouldn’t be universally available for both stroke and brush.
  4. Bumping this up again... I’m on an iPad Pro 11” (v MTXN2LL/A) running iOS 13.3.1 and the latest google drive app. I can’t open .afdesign files from google drive. The files were uploaded from my Mac and correctly classified as binary in the google drive web view. They have the correct extension, and I can go to the google drive app and do the “open in” option from the share sheet to get affinity to open the file. I just can’t do it from Designer itself; the files show as greyed out. Interestingly, the same folder contains other image files (.svg) and they open just fine.
