  1. This is a good idea. These are my suggestions: add a contact for the site, add a simple Q&A section and a brief how-to info page--all upfront. Visitors are curious people and want to have basic questions answered about a site before joining and also want to understand what is expected of them, the info page is good for all that. Create categories for the type of downloads that come into the site. Organizing the site from the start will be easier to maintain and provide focus to people who browse the site. Looking forward to seeing it grow.
  2. I'm getting the LoupeDeck CT and it would be an amazing feature to have it work with the Affinity suite. Thank you!
  3. I just wanted to say thank you dmstraker for providing the two lists. I really appreciate it!
  4. I agree with you Jeremy. I have experienced the same perplexing problem and took me a long while to find the answer to learn what was going on. I eventually came upon a video that explained the difference between layer types. Although the layer itself displays the kind of layer it is, it did not help my confusion when the tool was not working as I expected it. Jeremy 's suggested prompt would have been very helpful. I hope Serif will do something about it.
  5. I really like MrMurfMan's idea of a hierarchical structure to support sections and page groupings and to be able to duplicate a group as well. Can we please get Serif to add this to Affinity Publisher? I agree on the last sentence from MrMurfMan from his other response: I am looking for the child of Affinity Publisher and Scrivener. Yes, Yes, and Yes!
  6. Hello, I have Affinity Publisher 1.8.3 and I'm using a Mac, Catalina 10.15.5. I am experiencing a problem: When I use the delete, backspace, or any of the arrow keys within the text frame, I get a character that looks like an empty square. What I was doing prior to this problem was applying small caps to the headings, moving from one text frame to another. I don't know if that caused it. All I have on the page are text frames. No images or anything else. I did try pressing the ESC key and it worked, but I want to know if this problem/bug has been addressed at all. Has anyone figured out the cause? Thank you!
