Because you are viewing it at 100%, it should be about the same size as it would be on a t-shirt.
All that does is change the zoom level -- IOW, the size it is displayed at on your screen. It does not change the actual size of anything in the file. That's why it does not appear as a step in the History panel, there is no "undo" for it, & if all you do is change the zoom level after opening the file, you won't get a warning about unsaved changes because there are none.

It's weird it worked fine then it stopped without me touching snapping. Also I just reset everything including computer and box came up saying just installed or uninstalled font and it was

Well you guys were right I turn off some of the other items on the design and the snapping worked again. Wish it would not do that pain having to turn things off so I can line things up. Thank you again.

Possibly you have some Snapping options enabled that give you too many Snapping Candidates? Try turning off some of the Snapping options that you don't need for the operation you're trying to do.

Snapping is snappier than it used to be, but it times out (rather than hanging the app) if you mouse over a complicated area of the document when you have too many snapping options turned on. Try disabling the ‘Snap to Gaps and Sizes’ option.

You’re welcome. I often get confused with that too. Easily done.

Hi Diane Window 10 Desktop AD,

There is a known issue with the Add command that has been fixed by development, however in the meantime you can actually combine a series of separate curves into one object without using 'Add'. Just select the objects and go to Layers > Geometry > Merge Curves.

Also, to keep things clean it's probably best to 'Divide' the outline once you've expanded it (using the geometry tools at the top, or Layer > Geometry > Divide), then delete off the layers containing the inner parts (letter holes etc and inner edges of the outline), just leaving the extremities of the outline. This will get rid of the internal stuff which isn't necessary for the outlines once you've gone beyond the initial few stages and filled the internals of the letters with coloured outlines. It will make the file size smaller too.

    Hello,
i'm sorry that i can not give a good answer directly.
But probably you can find out with this tutorial for Photoshop, which describes how to achive this effect manually, how to perform the same steps in Affinity Photo (in particular i'm unsure if there is a equal function in Affinity Photo for the "Wind"-Filter in Photoshop):

    Hi Diane,
Unfortunately Affinity doesn't have a direct replacement for the Pixel Sorter tool, so I'll move this thread to our Feedback section of the forums for our devs to see and consider adding this in the future!

    Hi Diane,
You should be able to change the colours using the Fill Tool found in the Pixel Persona.
    Thanks

Version 1.7.0 has been released to retail, so it’s no longer in beta. If it isn’t working well for you, I suggest that you revert to 1.6.5 until the 1.7.1 customer beta becomes available.
By the way, it’s a bit confusing for other users if you change the topic title to ‘got it’ and replace the text of your original post with ‘thank you’. Leaving the wording as originally posted helps to make it clear what’s being discussed.

Sorry to hear that Diane. If you do report an issue you are getting with a file then please do attach it to your post! If you do encounter the issue again then please let us know so we can take a look at your file!

    Thanks.

Page 28 looks fine, however page 27 is empty. this is because the content for page 27 is on page 28 (to clarify this after disabling facing pages)
If you look at page 28 and look at the layers tab you will see one group that contains 2 more groups, which have each pages content.
It may have been when you changed size, but it looks like two pages worth of content have been grouped together, which will cause confusion when disabling facing pages, as one group can only exist on one page and our app will struggle to figure out which content belongs on which page.

Are you able to provide the file that shows the facing page issue?
You can upload it here and it will only be used for testing so I can hopefully reproduce the issue, which makes it a lot easier for the developers to fix.

Ransomware is a form of extortion. It is based on the value you place on your stuff.
