Ronniemcbride I asked a question about brush how to but, not making them but using them a certain way. I made some stitching brushes (when I get the right I will share:) but I saw something on a video how to get them to look like around the letter you put on design. Not stroke but on top of the letter like below.

Thank you so much. I did not know I could do that LOL. But what the girl did she made the stitching inside more so it was on top of letter like someone sewed it by hand. See photo the stitching is on top, not the side. Also when I use the stroke the corners are goofy. Someone on creative market had said that the girl's brushes were bad cause the corners are messed up. That is how mine is, she said that they usually do something special for the corners. Do you know what that would be? Thank you for taking the time to help me:)

No you misunderstood. I made the brushes already, and I saw a video where they made the stitching right where it suppose to be on letters. But they didn't have to move anything they just clicked a button and it was there.

I made some vector brushes that look like stitching. I want to have it go around a letter like it was sewn like that. Is there any way to do this? I don't want to have to move every little piece with the nodes. I watched a video where the girl selected something in photoshop that had it automatically go around the letter. I was hoping AD had something like that. (I never used photoshop so not exactly sure what you selected). Thank you:)

RC-R I just found bitmap thank you so much. I didn't know that circle thing was fill also. I use it a lot never knew what it was called. DUMB NEWBIE LOL. So now another thing I know, again thank you all so much:)

OMG thank you so much Reglico it worked:) But I was wondering RC-R am I suppose to have a bitmap cause I do not. Thank you all for helping me.

Am I doing this right. I am in AD and made a square, went to fill and put in gradient and then you go to type which would be linear (default) and change to bitmap? I don't have that choice never did.

I am so sorry but, I don't know what a bit map is. I am learning and have learned a lot so far but not that.

Do you mean put the image in the square?

I know how to make styles, but what I want to make is a style out of an image. I don't know if it is possible but, was wondering if it is. I tried rasterizing image saving to png, putting into a square but, nothing seems to work. So let me guess you can't do it. I downloaded some styles from here that had metal how was that done seems the same.

I got it to stop, I shut down my computer and restarted everything. I finished the design with no problems. I never shut down my computer and leave AD open all the time cause I am always coming up with ideas. I guess I need to shut down sometimes to clear everything out:)) Thank you so much for that.

I had this happen multiple times already. I am trying to edit a design and had things to it and program just shuts down. (It does not even put the box up to report it) It is a design of a black hat and I am changing the color to green and that worked. Then I make a square no fill just stroke so I can put a buckle on the hat and it just crashes when I go to move buckle to the hat. Last night when it happened I was further along and I was going to kill myself cause I did not save yet. LESSON LEARNED! But today I was just at the very beginning so did not save yet so did not lose much. What is happening? Oh I am running windows 10 8g of ram just started doing this.

Thank you so much. How do you keep it colored when you make a brush? I found out how to make a brush with a course I took and youtube but they come out white background and black or gray when you make them. They said it has to be white and black for pixel and opposite or vector. I love what you did like to make colored brushes:)

Please help, I download and it is looking for something online to open it. I extracted file then try to open with AD and nothing , I tried to drag it and won't , I have to be doing something wrong:(

I wrote on FB they told me to come here lol. I make t-shirts and the size needs to be 4500 x 5400 px 300 dpi and less then 20 MB. I have never had a problem till I tried something new and now the size is right and the file size is way to big. I thought it would be the right size as long as the dimension were correct live and learn. This seems so simple but it is way to big of a file. Is there a way to keep this size and make the file part smaller. In this picture I was just messing around and used the stuff from pixabay and like what it looked like. 1 horse line drawing 3 watercolor png files oh the horse is png also. The file come out to be little over 38 MB. Hope someone can help thank you ahead of time:) I tried to upload a file (picture) but it is to big LOL. 38 MB
