Hello DanC. Somehow the paintmixer brush seems to have taken over the 'invert' role of the paintbrush!! Seems to work on all adjustments. Probably something I did at some point but it gives me a workaround that I can use (until I need to use the paintmixer brush)! I've done an update on Chrome so hopefully the debug notice won't come back. Malcolm (age 78yrs.)

Thanks for the help. I'll try to sort out the Google problem. I import an image from FastStone Image Viewer and then add the adjustment layer. Then I click on layer 'invert', pick up the paintbrush, click on the white of the colour picker and paint over the areas that I wish to invert. It has worked very well up to now and it allows me to add a little extra to my photos, so I miss it. I have uninstalled Affinity and re-installed but that hasn't solved the problem unfortunately. All of them! Until today I have been using the 'invert' tool quite a lot and I do like it. I.ve tried re-installing and repairing but nothing seems to affect it. Malcolm
