  1. When a brush tool is selected there is information about the brush that is posted in the tool information bar (e.g. Width, Opacity, Flow, Hardness, etc...) except which brush, type, style and brush number was select. I think displaying that information would be helpful. Even under the More button the selected brush is not indicated in the form. Thanks for addressing this.
  2. I would like to see the ability in the preference menu to set up a default location where files can be automatically saved at a 5,10, 15, [x] minute time interval. Whatever suits the designer. Why? After spending about 5+ hours post processing a photo I accidentally closed out the file without physically saving it. Since I get so focused on editing a photo I sometimes forget to take the time to physically save my edits. Consequently, I lost all my edits with no way of recovery. I was in the Computer Aided Design business and all the major CAD applications have this capability. In the preferences menu, the designer could set the automatic save interval to 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes...etc... as well as the location the saved file is located. In the CAD business I had mine set to 5 minutes. That way I knew I never lost more than 5 minutes of edits. Even though I suggested this for Affinity Photo the suggestion would be helpful in all the applications of the Affinity Suite.
  3. Here is a novel idea, instead of having the Flood Selection Tool start at "New" why not have it start in the "Add" mode. When blowing through edits and I want to select multiple areas, successive picks negate previous picks. It is real frustrating to have to stop and start the selection process over again. If I want a "New", single selection I will only pick once. In fact, by doing it this way the "New" menu item could be eliminated entirely and have only "Add" and "Subtract".
  4. stokerg, I apologize. Yesterday was an intense day. I failed to notice the layer on which the object I wanted to modify was locked. Once I realized that and unlocked the layer the Move Tool worked as designed. Thanks for your reply!
  5. Because of grip issues with the Move Tool using Affinity Photo on Windows 10 I cannot do any work. How do I roll back to a previous version?
  6. Just upgraded to 1.7 using Windows 10. The grips for the Move Tool disappeared. I cannot move or make modifications to anything.
