  1. +1 I've been designing a 'template' for my Dad and his local magazine, it would nice if it could be saved as such, so he can't mess with it by mistake.
  2. From what I can see, there isn't currently an inbuilt way to build a book cover in publisher? I've completed all of the content of my book, but now need to work out how create the cover in a way that could be adjusted if required. Is the easiest approach to duplicate a master, then change the dimensions to allow for the spine in the centre, adjusting the margins location and design from there?
  3. Okay, so I've managed to find a solution of sorts. I re-applied the Master A to the page, which removed the text frame. I've added another frame, which appears as it should, above the master. I've no idea how the other text frame ended up within the template layers.
  4. Apologies if I'm being dumb, but checking back on the Master A page, the text frame isn't there, empty or otherwise?
  5. Hi Old Bruce, thanks for the reply. The layer doesn't seem to be locked, and the text frame was working fine until a while ago, I'm not working on a master page, I've attached an image of my layers panel, the only differnce I can see is that there isn't a red line on the left of the layer.
  6. I've added a text frame to a page, and made some edits, such as adding a coloured border. Since then I haven't been able to select, move, edit, or delete the text frame. I can edit the content, but not the frame itself. The frame has very small 'x' icons instead of handles. I've tried several key combinations, and checked to see if anything is locked, and it appears not.
  7. Thanks @GabrielM and @carl123, the Document > Clip Canvas suggestion works perfectly!
  8. I have an iPhone app which I use to create iPhone mockups. When exporting the generated png images, it includes a relatively large transparent area around the main image. When using Sketch, I can drag in the images and then re-export them without any editing, the transparent area surrounding the original image is automatically removed. Is there a way to easily remove this transparent area in AD or AP?
  9. I think I figured it out. AD always outputs the size as 100% x 100% no matter what the dimensions. I change the XML to the pixel values and all worked correctly on upload.
  10. When I'm exporting, I select 'Selection Without Background' or I'll get the whole artboard, which is included in the file you just sent. When uploaded, it seems to have included the artboard, but still made the image small - 250px x 150px. I'm on Mac OS 10.13.5.
  11. Oh, sorry, yes I do, it still shows at 150px x 150px when uploaded.
  12. Sure, here we go: SVG Test 144dpi.svg SVG Test.afdesign
  13. Here are some test files, with a simple square. SVG Test.afdesign Sketch.svg AD.svg
  14. Sure, before I do, I've just spotted this difference in the SVG files produced, the following line appears in the AD version: <g transform="matrix(1,0,0,1,-100,-100)"> '-100' is the exact amount the SVG images are being reduced by in Webflow. Could this be the reason?
  15. Hmm, I'm not so sure. My SVG's are displaying in Webflow, just at a reduced size. To double check, I opened the the Affinity Designer SVG in Sketch, then exported it again as an SVG from Sketch. The SVG exported from Sketch was then the correct size in Webflow.
  16. Hey @GabrielM, thanks! My document and export DPI are both set to 72, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
  17. I've created a logo for my website which is 250px x 250px. I export it to SVG and it opens at the correct size in other applications, such as Sketch, but when I upload it to my CMS (Webflow) it is only 150px x 150px. I've tried fiddling with the settings but can't seem to change it. Is there something obvious I'm missing on export?
