  1. Thanks for providing some insight on the matter, gdenby! It seems to be more of a Canva-thing rather than an Affinity one, but I was still curious and wanted to make sure I wasn't making any changes that had a negative impact on the file.
  2. Hi there! I'm using Affinity Designer on Windows and I'm running into an svg error/compatibility issue, specifically when trying to use a svg file exported from Affinity and uploaded to Canva. I receive an error (on Canva's end) that the svg file contains features that are unsupported. Through a combination of browsing through these support forums and trial and error, it was found that when the text (xmlns:serif="http://www.serif.com/") is removed from the svg file, the error is resolved. I guess for my first question, what is the purpose of xmlns:serif="http://www.serif.com/" text within the svg file? Would it be an issue for me to remove that text in a text editor? (i.e. does Affinity Designer require the text to remain in the file? Will removal impact file functionality?) Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
  3. Thank you both firstdefence and MEB for your detailed responses!
  4. I'm having this issue as well - in my case, the Context Toolbar is enabled and shows options for other tools. However, when crop is used, no options appear. edit: I just realized the original question was referring to Affinity Photo - I'm using Affinity Designer.
