  1. Hello,

This error often happens when I stitch panoramas of flat surfaces. I use this a lot in documenting paintings, murals, etc.

99% of the stitch will be fine, but there will often be a little section near an edge where it completely misaligns.

I have tried to use the mesh warp tool, but can't seem to resolve it completely.

    Thank you for any help.

  2. Hello Affinity Community,

I'm having some trouble with this specific curve, the "swirl". It was originally made in inkscape. Now when I try to use the add or subtract functions with other curves with it, it completely messes up. It is a closed cure as far as I know. See attached file and screenshots.

Thanks guys, you all are very helpful.

  3. Hello very helpful community,

See the grey hairline pixel gap in this design. I understand this is a common problem with vector software, but does anyone have any workarounds for this particular case? See file attached. It is still there when exported into jpeg and tiff, and when I rasterize the objects in question. It only seems to happen with certain combinations of blend modes / effects, when I post two blend modes on top of one another. If I turn one of them off, the hairline seems to go away. But for this design I need this to look like this. Any other workarounds welcome.

    Thank you!!

  4. Hello Affinity community,

I'm wondering why, when working with symbols, the styles I create work with all my connected symbols only if the have fills. When I try to use a style that I created  that only has strokes, it only affects the particuplar thing that is selected, not the whole rest of the of the symbols, which it obviously should. See screenshot:

I made this style to have multiple strokes with the appearance panel. The "example" in the style panel, is the one I made from the multiple strokes you can see in the appearance panel. But you can see in the layers panel that although I have the curve selected, and the rest of the symbols originate and are connected with this one, but only this curve is changing, while the other strokes are a only a black line?

    Thank you for the help.

  5. Hello team,

Loving the new beta, just disappointed that this problem still exists in this new version. Was hoping it could get resolved. This is unfortunately my principal issue with AD, as I work with rainbow strokes very often. If this could get fixed my designing process would be 1000 times simpler. As you can see, I have the brush set to Fold, and the mitre set to 100.

    Thanks everyone.

  6. Hello Affinity Community,

I'm using a custom rainbow vector brush as a stroke. With any sharp angle that I create, this happens, where it overlaps with itself on the inside section.

How can this be prevented, so that the purple, blue and green in this example appear to be flat, on one plane, so one does not appear o be on top of another?

In the picture, I want the whole stroke to look how the yellow, red and orange do. The circled area is where the problem is.

    Thank you so much!

  7. Hi All!

Thank you for having me on the forum. I'm curious if there is a way to make multiple strokes using one brush stroke, that can later be edited individually?

For example, I am working on logo where I'm using 6 different colors as if they are all going in the same direction painted by a brush (Please see attached image). Is there any way to make all 6 colors using one brush? For this, I made each curve individually, adjusting each one as needed. Looking for a more efficient way to work in this style.

    Thanks!
