Please feel free to use the MSI/EXE version of the software.

No, it's been put on the back burner, offering you this disastrous MSIX solution in the first place, I've lost precious time, this total loss of freedom, it's dictatorial! And don't tell me it's for my own good! I'm not a child, and I'm not your thing! I'll say it again, this is the red line for me: if .EXEs disappear, I'm leaving Affinity. I'd like to point out that I've been a loyal and loving professional customer of yours since the beginning of the suite, but this is a NO!

I've never seen such a rollback in the user rights of commercial software, it goes against our workflows and our ability to customize our systems and applications. For me, this is the red line. If .EXEs disappear, I'll leave Affinity, which I've been following since the beginning. LAMENTABLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LAMENTABLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. After having updated the 3 software of the Affinity suite, as you Designer to refuse to launch (crash after loading the fonts).
So I followed the advice of "Sean P" by renaming the folder from AppData folder 1.0 to 1.0 old, I successfully launched Designer but without my customizations and histories. I quit it and copy the contents of "1.0 old" to the new "1.0" folder created by Designer. And there I find all my Designer, my assets and history :-)
    If it helps :-)
    Yours truly

  4. Hello,

Superb update 1.7! congratulations and thanks, however i would like to point out a problem.
When an object has a border of the same color as an underlying object, a "white border" appears. This is a problem because it persists on the export (see the attached screenshot).
I point out that this problem exists when the border is positioned inside the surface.
Do you have a solution ?

    Johan.

  5. Hello everyone,

I realize that I have not yet introduced myself, I am repairing this rudeness.

I am Johan Puisais, founder of Xtendo, which is a web development and multimedia production agency. I have used Serif software in the past (Page Plus 4 in 1996).

The discovery of Affinity Photo was a real favorite, Designer followed. Publisher seems to be just as promising. Affinity tools are now an integral part of my workflow. I love Affinity and its software that matches my requirements very well!

  6. Hello everyone, I am Johan Puisais a French user of AD and AP. I started for the photo with AP, then I tested AD in my web design work. I am conquered and now abandon more and more Adobe suite.
Finally, I am very much looking forward to discovering Affinity Publisher.
Thank you for these great software that I hope to see evolve long!

  7. Hello Mark, I arrive a little after the battle ;-) Affinity Photo is one of my favorite software, but sometimes I have problems with raw developments. I sent you as an example 2 files (raw + jpeg via dropbox) issues without retouching of my Sony A6000. like others, when I load the raw, an inverse vignetting appears in the corners of the image, I do not have this problem in other development software ...

Thank you again and congratulations for Affinity software (I also designer)

    Johan Puisais
