I tried to add a brush which was to be a Signature for the corner of my images as a png file. Now whenever I try to use my Dodge or Burn selection, I get the signature in large letters. How do I eliminate this brush???

I recently installed Affinity for windows. Almost immediately my whole system slowed down incredibly. Now it takes forever to access Affinity, my word processor, and my E-mail account. It may be a co-incidence but I don't think so. Anyone have any suggestions?? B.

I am working on a fill layer in Photo persona. B.

I have be following the tutorials on Vimeo and trying to duplicate their movements. When they apply a gradient, it shows as a red color over the photo. When I do it, it floods the screen with grey and shows the gradient from light to dark. Where do I go from there?? B.

Another question. When I use the "gradient tool", I get a grey screen which obliterates the image underneath. In watching the tutorials this does not seem to happen. What am I doing wrong?? B.

I have just downloaded Affinity. I have some questions 1/ Can the icons be made larger? 2/ If I wish to install a copy onto my 2nd computer, how would I do that? 3/ My screen does not look like the tutorial screens. There is no reference to the pixel base layer on the bottom right corner of the screen. There is no red button on top left corner of the drop down menu after an adjustment layer has been activated.
