You can probably do that with a linear gradient fill but getting a ‘clean’ non-gradient transition between the colours can be tricky – see attached screenshot. You need to create extra gradient stops and then slide two over each other carefully.

When you create a selection (marquee) and then go to: "Select -> Edit Selection As Layer", then try to move that selection, it crash completely (Don't even say Goodbye).
Anyone else have the same bug?

    I'm using Affinity 1.7.0.258 (Beta).

When I make 2 curves with pressure and then Expand this stroke, then I join both curves in 1 object with the pathfinder "Add" it make a lot of nodes and I think that is not to well have 500+ nodes in a curve that you can made with probably 3 nodes.. while y'all fix the problem, there any way to reduce the amount of nodes? Here I upload a picture for example:
In the image, you can see in the top curve (Already fixed) compared with the bottom curve (No Fixed) and you can tell the difference.

I would like have a option for maintain the same aspect reducing the nodes. So, you can make any shape using the pen, pencil or brush and this option will help you to reduce nodes.

Another issue is, when you expand a stroke with or without pressure, it distortion the beautiful and smooth corner, look the image like example:

In the image, the stoke are the same size, the top one is with pressure and expanded, the second one is the original (No expanded) and the third one is with no pressure and expanded. I would like y'all fix it.

Another Issue is, when I duplicate a object using "Ctrl + Drag the object" it make like 4 or 5 more copies of the same object.

Another problem is, when want resize any shape using "Ctrl + Shift" for scale in the same place keeping the same ratio, of moment starting scaling like if you release the Ctrl Key but you still holding it, so, you have to release the key and hold press again..

djjss got a reaction from hawk in Resize Text Automatically?
    Hello:
I was wondering if there a way that you set a constraints or something that you make the text to the same size that the box, but if you write something more long, instead you have to resize manually, it resize for keep the size.
    For example:

I draw a Rectangle with 4 inch width and 4 inch height, then I make the TextBox with the same size width (4 inches) and inside the textbox I have "Test", then I change the word "Test" to "Let's test more" and the textbox keep the 4 width inches, just down the Font points automatically for keep the 4 inches width.
    There a way?

I don't know if I said or report the issues that Affinity Designer have (I didn't tried in Photo, I don't know if have the same Issue) when you make a curve with brush or Pen Tool and then you expand this stroke/curve and the corners instead look smooth, looks like polygon, sharp and I have to fixed. Sometimes look smooth, sometimes looks sharp.
I would like that you can apply wrap/envelope to a text without convert the text to a path (like in Corel).
    Some features for the future:
An additional color palette similar that Inkscape and Corel, but I would like something more original, different.
Option for add a node in the center between 2 nodes.
Now we have 3 options in path Mode "Conver to Sharp, Convert to Smooth and Convert to Smart" I would like another "Convert to Asymmetric".
Show and Hide Transform Square in a node selection, when you select a node or some nodes, you can click a button that show the transform square where you can Scale and rotate the selected nodes.
Option for threat each character from a Text for separate without convert the text to a path. When you create a Text "Test", you can rotate the T, down the e, move the s to the right and rotate little bit without convert this text to a path, something similar like in Corel.
Blend tool for path, create a circle and a Square and when you apply the blend, it will create objects from the circle converting to square, like in inkscape.
Addon where you can find images from google, shutterstock, etc... with the option of add more search's engines.
A Font identifier, it will make you easier identify a font and find similar fonts.

If I got more ideas I will post let y'all know.

Please, can y'all launch the Affinity Designer update before I spend my money?

djjss got a reaction from angelhdz12 in Ideas for future
    Hello:
I come with some Ideas for Affinity Designer...
When you create a text that said: "Hello World" I would like that you have a option for split this text and when you click this option, it will put "Hello" in one layer and "World" in another layer and the option if you want split by word or by letter. When you are working with curves, I would like that you can select a node and you have the option for rotate this node or scale this or those nodes selected. Have the option for convert a Bitmap to vector. Have a option that you can create your own brushes without save any picture, is like pattern along path. If is possible, compatibility with Illustrator brushes. When you select the Pen Tool, it have the option of Stability, I would like another option for do perfect curves, like in InkScape when you select Spiro. Effects for curves. More transformation option for text like liquify and this transformation option that you can see in Illustrator. More variety of adjustment and filters. At the moment this is the ideas that I have. If I get some more I will let y'all know.
    Thanks.
    I love affinity products.
