Oh, my!  Forum help is amazing!  I learned how to do a screen recording and made one to share, and then saw the other posts suggesting it was the bleed setting causing the problem.  Problem solved!  Works fine with bleed off.  So, I learned a new skill AND I learned how to fix a problem!  Affinity for the win.  Thanks everyone!

The patch tool in the Photo editor within Publisher will not work properly.  It is very frustrating.  When I make my selection with the tool, it immediately jumps to a different place (usually about an inch to the left and up a bit).  So, it is useless.  What could be causing this problem and is it fixable? I have updated to the latest version of Photo, and the problem persists.  Thank you for your input!

[Jagged edges on cut out image]

I am newish and have used the brush selection tool to remove the background from a product photo.  I could not get the lines smooth.  They are jagged because the selection tool uses the square pixels to snap to but the object is angled.  The photo is of a smooth steel object.  None of the refine tools make the edges look smooth like the actual object is.  What am I doing wrong?  What tools would work best for this?  I have attached the file.  I have tons of these to do, so I am frustrated.

[Neither 100% or Actual Size in Navigator are Displaying Actual Print Size]

Thank you, Thomaso.  I have found 80% to be my actual size, but I would like to know why I never had the problem before.  I did flip my dual monitors' positions a while ago, so you may have something there as to the resolution of the launching monitor.  I will be looking into that for sure.  Thank you very much for your help.  I love Affinity!

I have looked around the forum and can't see anyone else with the same problem.  My project is not displaying actual print size when it is set to 100% or Actual Size.  My pages are 8x8 and are displaying about 10x10 when viewing at 100%.  Any ideas?  I just started having this issue in the last two weeks, and I cannot figure out what is causing it.  I need to view it at true size and I keep having to just guess at it.  Thank you!

Can someone please give me instructions or a link to a good tutorial for this skill I cannot figure out.   I have watched tutorials, but none of them have given me quite what I need.

I am using Affinity Designer.  I need to change the color on the attached logo to all white so that I can put it on a colored background.  Right now, it is on a solid white square.  So, I would need it on a transparent background.  

Any help is great.  I've tried and tried to figure it out.  I know it can't be hard since I've seen designers do it quite effortlessly in PhotoShop. 

But I LOVE Affinity!

[How Do I Export With Printer's Marks? No Option There.]

Toltec for the win.  Thank you so much for making me feel like the biggest dummy ever.  When you suggested this, I was annoyed because SURELY I would have noticed a scroll bar.  I have spent literally days on this and enlisted my husband and children to help me figure out where the dang crop mark option was.  I have never felt so dumb in my whole life.  Thank you for that, haha.  Sorry to have stolen time out of both yours and Lee D's days.  I've got a burning desire to take down this thread and destroy all evidence of my stupidity.  But perhaps there's another weirdo out there who will appreciate not having to be called out on their own stupidity, haha.

[How Do I Export With Printer's Marks? No Option There.]

I am new, so please be patient.  I need to export with crop marks.   I have read other threads that instruct to export to .pdf, select MORE, and select INCLUDE BLEED AND PRINTERS MARKS.  However, I do not have that option.  Mine only says INCLUDE BLEED.  If I choose that option, there are no crop marks on the exported file.  Very frustrating.  I am able to print the source file with bleed and crop marks, but the export dialogue does not have the option.   Any help would be wonderful!
