Just posted this in the AP Mac bugs forum but worth posting here too: I updated to Photo beta 1.7.0.123 this morning and now anything created in this can no longer be imported/placed into Publisher, it appears broken. I can recreate with a fresh Photo doc and fresh Publisher doc - clicking the image icon in the toolbar and importing an image no longer works. Also, using the 'Replace Image' and selecting a .afphoto results in an error message as below, even though the image is not corrupt.

How to run a spell check
ConnectCreative replied to ConnectCreative's topic in Feedback for Affinity Publisher V1 on Desktop
Thank you for taking the time to look at it. I'd not considered the "misspelled" email was on a Master. It looks like it's refusing to get past it and check the document itself, so may be a bug. -

How to run a spell check

Many thanks. Just read through it and looks like I'll have to add my 2 cents to the Suggestions then. You are completely right with your recommendations on naming conventions - 'Show Spelling Options' makes no sense at all, it's a spell checker. Does the 'Ignore' button work for you? If I run 'Show Spelling Options' it picks up an email that's used throughout the document, clicking ignore appears to do nothing. If I run 'Show Spelling Options' again it highlights the same email. I've added some intentional spelling errors to my document as a test and run 'Show Spelling Options' again and it just won't get past that darn email. 'Find Next', 'Ignore' or 'Learn' appear to do nothing. How do I search the rest of the document? -
Really daft question but how do I run a spell check - I selected 'Spelling/check spelling' and it only comes up with x1 incorrect work (unlikely given the size of the document). I expected to see a dialogue where I could click through all my incorrect spelling errors, (ignoring, learning etc)? I've tried the 'Spelling/spelling options' and this comes up with there same incorrect work but refuses to learn or ignore?

I have a document with x2 master pages - one A4, the other 10mm wider at 220mm x 297. When I either create a new page (selecting the relevant master) or drag a Master on to page to change it properties, the size of the page does not change. I assumed if I had a master set at a certain size, dragged it on to a page, the page would use the size of the master applied? Small video to show what I mean: https://www.loom.com/share/25ec5e34b32f42cd87a951d4a46b5525 Assume I'm going about this the wrong way?!

Maybe its me not using tables correctly, but when I need to enlarge a particular column within a table, for instance the 'Comments' column below, is there not a way to get the table to simply enlarge its overall width without it trying to retain its width by reducing the size of columns to the right of it? I'd like to manually control the width of columns but Publisher keeps adjusting other columns to compensate and keep the overall table the same size.

Yes, no problem. Is there a way I can send you the file as a private message?
