    Hi @ConnectCreative

If you wanted to create this as vector brush, it can be easily done, but you would see the triangles curve with the direction of travel, as shown below. This may be an issue depending on how tight the curves you are following are.

You will also be able to apply this brush to a curves 'Stroke' as a Textured Line Style.

To achieve this I first created a white triangle on a black background. Reimported this as new textured intensity brush, then set the body to repeat in the brush edit window. I have put a link below to a tutorial on managing Vector brushes.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you so much for the detailed reply! I will have a watch through the video and get my head around creating vector brushes, thank you.

In addition to EmT’s suggestion above, Text On a Path (search the Help for that phrase) is a quick way to do what I think you want to do – see attached screenshot.

Use the Glyph Browser to choose an arrowhead shape from a font and set the Baseline according to your needs.

That solution is genius! Very clever thinking, thank you. This will serve my purpose until I get my head around creating vector brushes.

  3. I can yes, the file is fine and although it's a file that's backed up to iCloud it's stored locally and fully downloaded. It's how all my other documents are held and I don't have any other issues with other Publisher docs.

It won't let me re-link any of them, BUT I can create a new picture box and import the image that way, so Publisher has no issues accessing the files.

    I'm confused!

  4. I have one rogue Affinity Publisher document that for some reason has an issue with Links inside the Resource Manager being listed as 'Access denied'. All other Publisher documents are fine. Using Mac OS Monterey + latest Publisher build.

I thought it was something to do with Full Disc Access, but ticking this on makes no difference.

    Any ideas please?!

It can, but you need to know the trick.

When you Open the project, and you get the popup telling you that images are missing, do not click Resource Manager. Click Yes. When you locate one of the images, any other missing images in the same folder will be found, too.

Wait, what?!! I'm trying that right now, hold on!!!

  6. Currently having to manually update a pile of links within a product catalogue. One feature I really miss from InDesign (sorry to swear) was the ability for the Resource Manager to find additional missing links automatically, once you'd pointed it in the right direction of just one missing link.

It would save SO much time if Publisher could tell that all the other missing images were in the same folder.

  7. I'm not sure why it works like that in both instances, it feels unintuitive after using 'other' collect for output options in different software.

If I'm collecting a document together in order to gather all images and fonts, I don't understand why that would change the nature of the files behaviour from then on. I just want to gather the images, not change how the file works.

Not being able to just open it after and make a a quick amend and save seems bizarre?

  8. Just done my first 'Save as Package' with 1.9 beta and its corrupted the document. An example is shown in the screen recording below, but to explain: I used the Save as Package feature, collected my job and quit Publisher. When I've come to reopen the file, Publisher shows the package screen again (rather than just open the document). I have to click 'OK' to open the document. Secondly, if I now make changes to this, I'm unable to save anything.

Your idea led me to a solution. I have tested your procedure and finally I did it little bit differently. Try it. You do not have to move picture from picture frame. I tried just to turn the picture frame off in Layer manager. Then reload or replace the file. Then Turn the picture frame back on. And it works. Much simpler then resizing all linked files, but still manual work if you have many references. Still it is a bug and a temproary workaround. Publisher should not work this way. Hope it helps.

That's an interesting solution, thank you Boris!
